New Contest And More Pictures

Based on the amount of pictures I've been taking lately, I think it's become rather obvious that I have found a new hobby in my moderately boring life. Today will be no different, as I have more pictures for your viewing pleasure, including our trip to the zoo, and pictures from a 'normal' Friday evening in Seattle.

But first, I have a new contest to announce. Spawned from the mind of Chef Monkeywerks (who also brought us 'when will the conjoined twins die') the new contest is simple: how many years will the country's newest celebrity convict, Martha Stewart, recieve in her sentencing on June 17th?

The good chef has predicted a sentence of 5 years, while I am going to one up him and say 6 years. In this contest, price is right rules DO apply, meaning that the winner will be decided by whoever guesses the correct amount of years without going over, and not by who makes the closest guess. Also, the contest is only looking for her sentence, and not actual jail time, as she'll most likely not be behind bars for the entire sentence. (And before anyone asks, there is no prize on the line, so don't get your hopes up.)

So start sending me your predictions, and I'll eventually set up a side bar so we don't forget.

Now for more picture fun, I have two groups of pics from the past couple of days (not nearly as many as the last post, so it won't take as long to look at them).

The Zoo: Karen and I met up with our friend Tim, who lives nearby, and he took us to the zoo for the afternoon. Tim has a memebership, and I think I might get one for myself, because the zoo is awesome. I had slight technical difficulties with the camera, so I didn't get a whole lot of pictures, but never fear, I will definitely be making another visit.

A Typical Friday Night: These are just random pictures from last nights festivities. The only thing that made this night not-so-typical was the fact that the show we went to was free- usually it costs mucho dinero just to get into these places. Oh and also, it doesn't usually hail... Otherwise, this seems to be how we spend most of our weekends.

Cheers!
