Hiroshima and Kobe

I think, by now, it's a well known fact that Osaka is not the most beautiful city in the world. Lucky for us, though, we had the chance to take a nice break from the cement and visit Hiroshima, a nice little city with a horrible, unfortunate past.

We also took a short trip to Kobe, which is surprisingly close to Osaka. Just a 30 minute train ride takes you to the city, which is best compared to Seattle. (Someone once told me it is Seattle's 'Sister City'.) We had been there once before to visit a very popular resturant which serves meat on a sword, but it was closed and, seeing as we were with others, decided to skip it. Today we succeeded, though, and it was absolutely delicious. Take a look!

Hiroshima: We saw many things in Hiroshima, including a beautiful little island, and a very inspiring park. See for yourself!

Kobe: The meat place was so good, that it's now 7 hours later and I still feel wonderfully sick with meaty goodness. Oh, and the city was pretty cool, too.

Konpai!
