My interest in photography has been nothing more than owning a camera and pushing a button. However, a recent introduction into the world of Virtual Tourist might make me think twice before snapping my next picture.
The site is a bit difficult to navigate at first, what with the advertisements and all... but if you take a moment to figure it out, you'll find travel tips, pictures, summaries, and a whole lot more written by yours truly.
The great part about Virtual Tourist is that there's a much higher probability people will stumble across the site. Maybe my (limited) travel advice will actually help someone.
Don't get me wrong, though. Thanks to Alex, the Poopdeck is (and always will be) the #1 site for updates and babble from Ye Ol' Captain. Virtual Tourist is simply an alternate environment where I can pretend my pictures actually mean something.
As of now the site is very much in progress (currently only 3 pictures). However, it has become a recent hobby/obsession, so it will likely grow rapidly within the next few weeks.
