I have decided it's finally time to jump on the Flickr Bandwagon. I haven't been taking a lot of interesting pictures lately, so I haven't been motivated to put anything online. I think with Flickr I will be much more likely to add them now and again. (It'll be a lot less work to upload on Flickr, that's for sure.)
I took Chef Monkeywerks' advice and got myself the year long membership so I can upload as many photo's as I want, which means over the next week or so I will be going through everything and throwing it online. I plan to start with the most recent events from this past weekend, when Chuck and Lauren tied the knot, and move my way backwards from there.
We also have another wedding coming up which is out of the country next week, so I intend to do a lot of picture taking while there with my new, highly intimidating camera.
Anyway, if you are interested, look me up on Flickr. My name is jscatty, so search for me if that link doesn't work. I have one picture online now that I did to test it out, but I promise it will grow over the next few days. (I also did a quick browse through other peoples contacts and added anyone that looked familiar, so expect some invites from me.)
Cheers!
Posted by jed at April 23, 2007 04:48 PMWhat camera did you get? Ironically I am also looking for a camera (with a very good macro setting, optional manual controls, image stabilization, option to add a close-up lens, and small enough to carry hiking without breaking my back.) I'm thinking about the Canon Powershot IS.
