This Just In...

Breaking news in the Poopdeck world today... I'll start by confirming any rumors people may have heard about a surprise, secret getaway to Las Vegas by yours truly and his first mate, Karen.

For the past few months, I had been planning a surprise trip to Vegas where Karen and I would get married, unbeknown to her. The only other person who did know of this was a very special friend who could coincidentally act as both a best man, and a maid of honor, Aron. For months we kept this secret, quietly planning and booking rooms behind Karen's back. Aron shopped for dresses and shoes, among hundreds of other things, and I bit my tongue on numerous occasions while trying not to let the secret slip.

Now the deed is done, however, and the big secret is out. Without boring people with detail, the plan went off without a hitch, and I'd like to welcome the new Mrs. Scattergood into the Poopdeck family (even though she's already a part of it... it's just now her name is a little different.)
