It is true that I like to watch Reality TV, so I know it may be somewhat unimportant when I proclaim a show is 'must see' or 'can't miss'.
However, on October 30th, one of the absolute greatest 'reality' shows I've ever seen returns to television in an all new season: Everest 2 - Beyond The Limit.
I stumbled across this show last year around the time I got my very first High Definition television, and I thought 'hey, this would look neat in high def'. I was right. Furthermore, I read Into Thin Air awhile back (a book which subsequently sparked my first ever interest in reading... an interest that has by now long passed... but oh well) and ever since then I have been somewhat fascinated with Mount Everest.
I was happy to see a commercial today (while on the eliptical... oh the things you learn while you exercise! Whomever thought of putting personal TV's on exercise equipment should be given an award or something). It appears that some of the same climbers are on the trek this year, along with quite a few new ones. The commercial didn't go into too much detail, but it seems that it wasn't an easy climb... not that it ever would be.
So it is with this I ask all of you to forget about the last two posts on Kid Nation... I really do know what I'm talking about, and this show is absolutely fantastic. Set your DVR, your TiVo, your good old fashion VCR... or just park yourself in front of the TV on October 30th. I promise you'll be hooked.
Cheers!
