This is pretty neat! Too bad most of the streaming content offered is crap, but it's a good start. (I think The Jerk is available on watch instantly... that's pretty cool!)

The Countdown Begins
In just a couple short weeks, The Dark Knight hits theaters. I have been waiting for this movie ever since the end credits to Batman Begins, and the recent buzz is that it will not disappoint. I am even hearing rumblings of an Oscar nod to Heath Ledger's adaptation of the Joker, the role that apparently led to his early death. (Again, rumors have it that he was so into this role and put so much effort into perfecting it, it actually caused sleepless nights due to his constant obsession over it. This led to the accidental prescription drug overdose that inevitably killed him.)
I have seen postings of the first five minutes, I have come across articles with spoilers, but I have ignored them all. I want to walk into the theater exactly where we left off with Batman Begins and get that feeling of excitement all over again. The music, the cinematography, the characters... it all seemed to bind so well together. Believe it or not, I think I am anticipating The Dark Knight more than I did and of the Lord Of The Rings sequels. (I took a day off work and traveled to Albany for Return Of The King, so that is a pretty strong statement.)
July 18th... 2 weeks and 1 day away. I can't wait.
