August 18, 2004 One day I looked on a map and saw a huge green area near our old apartment. I decided to take bicyclees out for an afternoon and was very pleased by what I found.

August 18, 2004 In fact, I was so pleased that I returned that week, and relaxed beneath a tree as the sun slowly fell behind the mountains.

August 28, 2004 As you know by now, I love aquariums. So of course, we took a day to head out to the Osaka Aquarium (which we now see everyday as we live next door to it.)

September 8, 2004 One of only three trips outside Osaka in our first six months was to Nara Park. It's known for it's temples, shrines, and very friendly deer. So friendly, in fact, that they try to eat you.

September 15, 2004 Universal Japan is not only a fun place to spend an afternoon, it's also a great way to meet all of your favorite stars! Cookie monster, Bert and Ernie, Elmo... they were all there!
